Happy Monday, Artists!

• Yesterday, we had the honor of being invited to donate a painting class to a group of women from a Domestic Violence and Abuse shelter. The theme was "butterfly" to symbolize rebirth and beauty and most of the women had sadly, never painted in their lives. Carol and I were humbled by the opportunity to provide the gift of art to these women and we saw how quickly it made them smile, laugh and inspire new hope in them. During my studio's fundraiser, our goal was to raise money for projects such as these but we fell short. If you would like to donate any amount, it would help us greatly in continuing to provide free art classes for children in foster care programs and shelters such as these. It's that magical time of year again when the holidays are quickly approaching!

• ARTISTS AT THE FALLS @ THE NEST IN CORAL GABLES: Saturday, Oct. 6th 10am-1pm featuring yoga, ballet, fall photoshoot and of course ART classes for kids! See attached flyer!
• FALLS ART DISTRICT GALLERY WALK: Fri, Oct. 19th 7-10pm featuring artwork by Talia, Live Music by Live Your Art, bellydance by Belly Motions, Food Truck Rally, Free Trolley and more! www.fallsartdistrict.com
• LADIES NIGHT OUT PAINTING PARTY: Thurs. Oct. 4th and Oct. 18th. 6:30-9pm. $40/person or LAST CHANCE to use your Groupons! All materials included...just BYOB and snacks! RSVP! SPACE IS LIMITED!
• TEACHER WORKDAY MINI ART/THEATER CAMP: Fri. Oct. 26th 9-12pm Artists at the Falls, 12pm-3pm Rising Stars or 9am-3pm Full Session at both studios. Includes all projects and materials, snacks and more! $35/child/session or $30/sibling
• ANNUAL HALLOWEEN ART PARTY: Sat. Oct. 27th 11am-2pm Kids, wear your costumes & create some hair-raising art projects, enjoy some spooky games & stories & munch on some tasty treats like pizza & popcorn!!! $35/child ($30/siblings) includes all the tricks 'n treats!! RSVP! SPACE IS LIMITED!
