Happy Monday, Artists!

• Yesterday, we had the honor of being invited to donate a painting class to a group of women from a Domestic Violence and Abuse shelter. The theme was "butterfly" to symbolize rebirth and beauty and most of the women had sadly, never painted in their lives. Carol and I were humbled by the opportunity to provide the gift of art to these women and we saw how quickly it made them smile, laugh and inspire new hope in them. During my studio's fundraiser, our goal was to raise money for projects such as these but we fell short. If you would like to donate any amount, it would help us greatly in continuing to provide free art classes for children in foster care programs and shelters such as these.
